Hello! I’m Andrea … a proud Nova Scotian who has been living in beautiful British Columbia since 1992. I love the salty seas on both sides of this country and try to dip my toes in both at least once a year. My greatest passion is my family and friends. I am always up for new adventures but most of all I love to go for a horseback ride with my barn buddies.
My professional career has spanned many industries, including 15 years as a 911 operator & dispatcher, then as an entrepreneur opening and operating a small business, and now as a sales agent with SONA. I believe the diversity of my professional background helps me to connect and empathize with the needs of business owners. I have a strong desire to help and so I try to bring the same level of support I would have wanted as a business owner to all my clients.
I really enjoy getting to know the stories behind the business. I always find it so interesting to know the background of the people I work with and what brought them to be entrepreneurs. My focus will always be to find ‘the best fit payment solution’ for my clients and ensuring they are confident in the knowledge they will have my support in the future. Lowering business costs and finding the technology to make their jobs easier is my priority, along with providing a strong working relationship built on trust and my commitment to their best interests. I enjoy working with all industries; however, the service focused business sector is particularly enjoyable for me. I get jazzed up trying to think outside the box for clients.
